He is so call the baby sitter when were all in Batam since my Hubby and Naz (nora hubby) when fishing while we enjoy shopping... I coloured my hair that cost only $50 & had waffles from A&W.....(craving for so long...ate waffles at A&W & sure to eat again when go there). Nora parents were so nice treating like their kids too....and bfast her mum made us her special Maggi curry with chili padi...power giler....All of us enjoy the trip and the nasi lemak Mak cooked. She even packed for hubby & Naz for their overnight fishing trip....Thanks Mak & Abah for the hospitality...We had so much fun even though it was only a weekend trip... |

Dear All frens You all may think that I am such a fanatic for cats & even "crazy" in writing this blog today and always talking about cat. But this seems to be something close to my heart and VERY IMPORTANT because more cats are being killed in th Eastern part of Singapore.. Not only VERY IMPORTANT to me but most IMPORTANT to all caregivers in PASIR RIS who spend endless time, money, love and efforts for all the "community cats" including all over Singapore.. These cats are such lovely creatures who have dedicated caregivers who feeds and clean up responsibly after feeding them and managing them by the TNRM Program (TRAP, NEUTER, RETURN & MANAGE) . These cats are very friendly, lovable & playful in nature but now i feel sad that there PPL like this who are so CRUEL.....& HEARTLESS..... No matter what, whoever has killed these cats is really a '"psycho" & "crazy' and something is wrong mentally with this person... If now can kill cats, this person might every kills dogs in future and God knows what else. I know to some people it mayb seems like a 'stray cat" to them but for the endless efforts of the caregivers that does sterlisation programme & more, it really makes a different and I'm sure by now the caregivers are feeling sad, lost and worrried that their other "community cats" might have the same fate.... Caregivers who have been feeding these dead "community cats" must be feeling so so sad......I can understand that too....... (i cried for every cat/kitten that have died).. So please whoever or anyone who is staying within that vicinity or happen to walk passed and saw / seen anything or even notice any suspicious characters etc, please please get in touch with the police or SPCA or even the Cat Welfare Society...It would really really help & make a diiference if someone JUST SOMEONE who is willing to help..... if not the killing will continue.. Copy of Straits Times Article Today - 12th May 2008 | 4 cats found dead - 3 with stab wounds | | By April Chong | | ANOTHER four cats have been found dead in Pasir Ris, bringing the death toll to seven felines since May 2. Of the four, three were found in Pasir Ris Town Park on Monday, within 50m of one another and with abdominal puncture wounds. The fourth cat was found nearby, in an open field near Block 536. It had a fractured jaw. It had no other observable wounds, and it is not known whether its death was related to that of the other three. The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA), alerted to the deaths, said the wounds on the three in the park were stab wounds, not the result of dog bites. On May 2, three cats were found in Pasir Ris Street 21, doused with what is believed to be thinner. Two died and the third was eventually put down as a result of its injuries. The SPCA is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the person or persons involved in this spate of cat deaths. The SPCA may be contacted on 6287-5355, Extension 9. | Vet called to informed us that he has bad infection that needs 6 of his teeths to be extracted no other choice.... Need to do 3 blood test before can proceed with the minor surgey but luckily vet said he is ok, no kidney problem, blood clot etc..At the end of the day the whole cost is $300plus.. Imagine how I feel, he must be feeling so in pain but i guess at the end of the day at least he will recover to his cheeky self again.. GREAT NEWS...........Brought Sunkist home already (in fact Saturday)..... He is coping slightly better than the day bfore...He was more grateful but tired instead of being angry with me... "SO SORRY SUNKIST, MUMMY SENT U TO THE VET EVEN THOUGH U DONT LIKE" Have to spend more time with him on Saturday even though he is abit groggy walking like "a drunkard man..opps cat"..Had to close the room door that he is sleepin in temporary until he recovers. Sayang him,pat him, coax him to eat even though he a bit weak.. The very cute part is we both lie on the carpet side by side....such a touching moment for us.. As for yesterday, I brought him out of the room and the 1st person was Gizmo in front of the room smelling him....followed by Adik and Limpbizkit...somewhat familiar.... But his REAL brother Panther hissed at him (naughty boy u Panther).....such a spoilt brat..(daddy's boy). Anyway Panther "kena scolding" from daddy for being naughty and hissing at his brother.....(VERY GOOD kena beat at the butt from Daddy...heheheheh) Frankly speaking I know that some people may think I'm "crazy" for loving & caring for my cats too much and doing a lot for them financially and all etc...(especially with vet costs that is HIGH in the time like this, their food, litter & toys etc). But at end of the day seeing all my 5 "babies" happy & healthy & running around full of life, I feel so contented and happier..They are of of the the sources of my happiness in my life for the last 6 years....I thank Allah for making me a compassionate person towards these wonderful loving creatures instead of abusing them...In fact I've been feeding other sterilised community cats also.... Anyway no mattter what I love them all... be it my cats or the community cats.... Thank you all for the well wishes & doa for Sunkist... Love u too.... My little cute kudut Sunkist was rushed to the vet this very morning as he was dripping salivas, mouth cannot close and also tongue protruding out... when we came back from EC about 1am this morning we realised that something was wrong with him. I've become "kancheong" wiping his face & everything & asking him are you ok Sunkist. Me wanted to cry already but managed to tahan... Sunkist still can walk but he seems to be in alot of pain.. Called emergency vets and the wants at least deposit of $300.00 first as its past midnight. Managed to call a friend who has cats also and he said if Sunkist doesnt look too serious, asked me to visit the vet 1st thing in the morning..I couldnt sleep the from 2-6am keeping tabs of Sunkist on & off. And the other 4 cats clever sleep in the room with me & hubby. In fact I was so scared that Sunkist might be too sick like Limpbizkit years back.... we spent a BOMB on her but its worth it. I told myself to remain calm too. 1st thing in the morning call the cab (it was raining cats & dogs), So difficult as most cab do not want to ferry a cat in a carrier.. I really dont know what the cost of Sunkist final bill... as long as he recovers... Mummy loves u Sunkist.... this video is cute.... cat, dog & rat happily together...

Dear Friends, Cat Welfare Society's AGM is this coming Thursday. Past two years, CWS had to shelf some new changes because we did not have enough members to form a quorum (30 members min.). We hope to have enough folks this year. As you all have connected with CWS before in one way or another (either through collaborations, mediation, TNR claims, adoptions, special appeals, etc.), hope that you can give your support to CWS by coming this Thursday. If you aren't a member yet, it is still not too late to sign up at any AXS machine under community tab. I understand that in the past year, they had a few members who signed up at the door too. That might work. Your $40 per year membership dues goes a long way into helping CWS work.
